The End Of The Beginning Of Our First Audio Drama
Episode #1 of our horror anthology is in the can...and it's tasty!
“Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.” So said Winston Churchill in 1942 following victory in Egypt and so say we having FINALLY finished all recording for our first full-cast audio drama 'Calyptra Morteferum'
'Calyptra Morteferum' is a self-contained body-horror based on an original best-selling story by author F.K. Marlowe a.k.a. The Belle Dame. It is the first of three adaptations of her work that will form the first three episodes of our horror anthology 'Shivers'.
Inspired by the likes of 'The Twilight Zone' and 'Tales From The Crypt', 'Shivers' is intended to be a long running series of horror stories of all stripes featuring a full cast plus sound design and original music supplied by our co-production partners 'Tower of Doom' who also run the biggest independent metal label in the Philippines, which is not at all relevant but is very cool!
Calyptra is the story of a scientific discovery gone wrong, set in a lepidopterology lab ostensibly located in Lund University, Sweden (which is a centre of excellence for such things), but featuring a truly international cast of diverse talents including:
